Two Arrested During Sunday Night Protests In Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. Police arrested two men Sunday night during ongoing protest activity in Portland’s South Waterfront.

The department activated an Incident Command Team on the evening of Oct. 5, deploying a Crowd Management Incident Commander along with Dialogue Liaison Officers, Bike Squad members, the Rapid Response Team, and a sound truck to manage the demonstration.

At around 8:15 p.m., officers were flagged down by a person who reported being harassed. Officers arrested Darnell Canfield, 41, of Portland, and booked him into the Multnomah County Detention Center on one count of harassment…
