Beaverton police search for suspect after deadly Scholls Ferry hit-run crash

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – Beaverton police are searching for a suspect behind a deadly hit-and-run that killed a pedestrian earlier in October.

According to Beaverton Police Department, the crash occurred just after 8:45 p.m. Oct. 4, when a car driving southbound on Scholls Ferry Road, near Hall, struck a pedestrian and fled the scene.

The pedestrian, identified as 67-year-old Emmanuel Del Cid of Beaverton was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.

Authorities describe the driver as a Latino male in his mid-30s, approximately 5’11” and was wearing a white hoodie at the time of the crash. The suspect vehicle is believed to be a white 2013-2015 Audi A4 or S4 with damage to the front of the car…
