PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Amid several proposals to open new locations in and around the Rose City, In-N-Out Burger has bought a local warehouse.
Cushman & Wakefield revealed on Monday that the California-founded fast food joint purchased a 71,600-square-foot site within Portland Portal III. According to the real estate firm, the Gresham building found on 18205-18365 NE Sandy Blvd. measures at about 145,096 square feet overall — and was only recently constructed by Panattoni Development Company in May 2024.

“The sale to In-N-Out highlights the strategic appeal of Portland Portal III, with its excellent location and robust infrastructure,” Cushman & Wakefield Executive Managing Director Aaron Watt said in a release. “The remaining building offers a unique opportunity for businesses looking to establish a presence in a business-friendly environment with strong transportation connections and access to a skilled labor force.”
The firm reported that In-N-Out is expected to use the property to help with its expansion into the Portland market. In June, the burger chain filed for building permits for a long-planned location at 10565 SW Beaverton Hillsdale Highway in unincorporated Washington County.
