Portland man who robbed bank, held loaded gun to teller’s torso sentenced

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — After committing an armed robbery at a local bank earlier this year, a Portland man received a lengthy sentence on Tuesday.

James Wallace, 55, who is a repeat offender, was sentenced to more than 12 years in prison, along with five years of supervised release. He was also ordered to pay more than $6,000 in restitution for multiple robberies that he committed.
