Early Morning Burglaries in Clackamas & Happy Valley, Oregon

CLACKAMAS COUNTY, Ore. – The Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office and our contract partners at the Happy Valley Police Department are investigating two early morning burglaries where the suspects used stolen vehicles to smash through the front doors to break in and steal merchandise.

On Monday, September 29, 2025, just after 4:00 a.m., deputies assigned to the Happy Valley Police Department were dispatched to reports of a burglary at the House of Pipes, located at 15735 SE Happy Valley Town Center Drive in Happy Valley. When deputies arrived, they discovered a stolen 2016 Hyundai Elantra had been used to crash through the front of the store. No suspects were located inside.

Store managers estimate the burglars stole more than $5,000 worth of merchandise and caused several thousand dollars in additional damage to the store. Video surveillance shows two masked men wearing gloves filling rolling recycling bins with merchandise. Both left the store within two minutes and may have left the area in a dark-colored sedan.

Approximately 20 minutes later, shortly after 4:20 a.m., the Sheriff’s Office received reports that a vehicle had crashed through the front of the liquor store at 12046 SE Sunnyside Road in Clackamas. In this burglary, one of the suspects was described as a masked man dressed in all black, with white gloves and white shoes. The other suspect was also dressed in all black, with black shoes and gloves. The suspects from this apparently related second case appeared to drive away in a dark Hyundai Sonata with Oregon plates 049 KTX. They were last seen driving northbound on SE 122nd Avenue from Sunnyside Road…
