Two men arrested during ongoing protests outside Portland ICE building

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Two people were arrested Saturday night as protests continued outside the ICE building in South Portland, police said.

During the demonstration, officers received reports that a man had been assaulted and injured near S Bancroft Street and Bond Avenue. The man was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, officials said.

Officers later arrested a suspect, a 32-year-old man, who was booked into the Multnomah County Detention Center on a charge of fourth-degree assault.
