PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — An Oregon City man has been arrested in connection with the death of his girlfriend, whose remains were found in the Mount Hood National Forest early last month.
According to the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office, on Sept. 1, deputies responded to Forest Service Road 45 in the Mount Hood National Forest near South Hillockburn Road, where someone had reported finding human remains.

After investigating the scene and performing an autopsy, officials identified the victim as 38-year-old Jennifer Ruth Stuart. Additionally, her death was ruled a homicide.
