PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — From defending Portland’s sanctuary city status to administration attempts to deploy National Guard troops into the city, Councilor Eric Zimmerman has a lot on his plate.
He’s one of the 12 councilors elected last November as part of the expanded City Council. Zimmerman represents District 4, covering essentially all of Portland west of the Willamette River.
