Sadly, there is another spooky October story. Unfortunately, a woman was murdered in Oregon and the case was unsolved. However, the recent discovery of a suspicious truck helped lead to an arrest, so justice has been served.

On September 1, 2025, the remains of a woman were discovered in the Mount Hood National Forest. Someone reported finding a body on Forest Service Road 45 near South Hillock Road.

After an autopsy was performed, police officers shared that the victim was identified as 38-year-old Jennifer Ruth Stuart, and the cause of death was homicide. But the investigation didn’t have many leads aside from truck tracks.
