Arrest warrant issued for Portland man violating parole with reckless driving videos

PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — A warrant for probation violation has been issued for the Portland man who was convicted of recording himself driving recklessly around the metro area, after new videos reportedly surfaced.

Oscar Burell Jr., 33, posted what appear to be new videos on social media of him behind the wheel again after having his license suspended for 90 days in early September. KATU News has viewed TikTok videos of Burrell driving, but can’t verify the date on which they were filmed.

On Sept. 8, 2025, Judge Katharine von Ter Stegge sentenced Burrell to 18 months of probation and 80 hours of community service for the 11 crimes he committed…
