PORTLAND, Oregon — Two of the three men charged with attempted murder, among other charges, in the violent assault of a TriMet bus rider earlier this month were ordered held without bail Friday due to public safety concerns.
The attack happened Oct. 15 at a bus stop near Southeast Stark Street and 142nd Avenue. Prosecutors said the three men tried to board a bus, but one of them was smoking. A man already on the bus confronted the group for slowing down his ride to work.
