Man suffers life-threatening injuries in Creston-Kenilworth shooting

Along westbound S.E. Foster Road, just west of 58th Avenue, a man was shot before sunrise on Sunday, October 5, near the fenced Chinese Evangelical Presbyterian Church property.

Portland Police Bureau (PPB) East Precinct officers who were dispatched at 5:36 a.m., and found the adult male victim seated in a car near a TriMet bus stop.

“The victim, suffering apparent gunshot wounds, was taken to a local hospital by ambulance with life-threatening injuries,” a PPB spokesperson confirmed. “The suspect or suspects left the scene before police arrived; and, no arrests have yet been made.”…
