Man indicted for 2022 shooting death of 26-year-old in NW Portland

PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) – A 36-year-old man was indicted for the 2022 shooting death of 26-year-old Jaquan Jenkins in northwest Portland, police announced on Friday.

Nearly four years after losing her brother, Tamikia Taylor saw his alleged killer for the first time in a Multnomah County courtroom on Friday.

“My emotions are all over the place,” she said. “Glad I actually got to look him in the face so he can see my brother’s face and see exactly what it is that he actually took from us.”

The suspect, Alexander Warren, pleaded not guilty during his arraignment. He is accused of shooting and killing Jaquan Jenkins in January 2022 in Portland’s Old Town neighborhood…
