CLACKAMAS COUNTY, Ore. – A man was hospitalized in stable condition after being shot by a Clackamas County sheriff’s deputy Sunday night following an arson report outside Sandy.
Deputies were dispatched around 9:45 p.m. Nov. 9 to a property on SE 362nd Avenue near SE Dee Zee Court after a 911 caller reported that his 44-year-old son had set a utility trailer on fire, according to the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office.
About 10 minutes later, the man encountered a responding deputy and an Oregon State Police trooper, and a shooting occurred. The man was wounded by the deputy and taken to a local hospital. No law enforcement officers were injured…
