On November 12, 2025, Judge Nan Waller delivered a verdict in the case of Tamena Jaceeta Strickland, a 37-year-old Portland resident. Strickland was found guilty except for insanity in the murder of her 22-year-old brother, Deante Strickland. She was also found guilty on two counts of attempted murder for shooting her grandmother and aunt, both named Shirley Strickland. The incident occurred on August 2, 2019.
