PORTLAND, Ore. (KPTV) – A 37-year-old man accused of trespassing and obstructing federal property at the Portland ICE facility made his first appearance in federal court on Monday.
Christopher Griffin has been charged with failing to obey a lawful order, obstructing federal property, and trespassing on federal property.
According to U.S. Attorney’s Office – District of Oregon, the charges stem from three incidents:
- Oct. 22: Griffin was charged with failing to comply with an officer’s orders to leave the premises.
- Nov. 14: Griffin was charged with obstructing the use and access to federal property.
- Nov. 16: Griffin entered the grounds of the ICE building and remained there, allegedly failing to comply with directives from federal officers, leading to his arrest.
