Commercial vehicle inspection in Oregon uncovers 26 violations, including missing brake parts and suspended CDL

A Happy Valley Police Department (HVPD) officer discovered more than two dozen violations during a recent commercial vehicle inspection.

Earlier this month, a HVPD Traffic Safety Deputy stopped a semi truck traveling along Highway 212 in Happy Valley, Oregon, and performed a commercial vehicle inspection.

The officer found a total of 26 driver and vehicle violations, including:

  • Missing brake parts
  • Inoperative turn signals
  • Expired registration
  • Suspended commercial driver’s license (CDL)

As a result of the violations, the truck and driver were placed out-of-service.
