PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — As temperatures begin to dip, Portland Firefighters Association Local 43 stepped up once again to make sure the city’s youngest residents stay warm.
For the 12th year, firefighters and community partners spent Tuesday handing out nearly 1,000 coats to children enrolled in Portland Public Schools Early Learning Centers.
