Western Oregon hunters cited near Halfway for using deceased persons’ identities in big game hunt applications

HALFWAY – The Oregon State Police recently issued a report regarding two Hunters from western Oregon cited on various identity theft related charges after being caught using the information of several deceased individuals in various hunting applications.

The hunters in question, 70-year-old Bruce Clayton Luscombe of West Linn and 69-year-old Robert Arthur Luscombe of Wamic, were located by Oregon State Police in the Pine Creek Wildlife Management Unit near Halfway on October 28 while they were preparing for a big game hunt.

The two men were each cited on one count of Possession of Falsley Applied for License or Tag – Misd, two counts of Unlawful Application for License, and one count of Identity Theft. The offense dates for the Identity Theft and Unlawful Application for License charges were between May 7 and 12, 2025, while the Possession of Falsely Applied for License or Tag charges was listed as October 28…
