LIST: Guns banned from dozens of Multnomah County buildings

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – Guns are now banned in dozens of Multnomah County buildings after a new law in the state of Oregon gave local governments the choice to do so.

Senate Bill 243, also known as the Community Safety Firearms Act, bans bump stocks that are devices that turn semi-automatic guns fully automatic.

The bill also gives local governments the authority to limit concealed handgun license holders from bringing firearms into public buildings where official meetings are held, such as city halls.
