Portland man sentenced to prison after attacking housemate with bong

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – A Portland man was sentenced to prison on Friday after assaulting his housemate in a case that began with stolen lottery winnings, according to the Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office.

The Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office said 43-year-old Raymond Maurice Mosley was sentenced to more than 18 years in prison with three years’ post-prison supervision for several crimes committed in 2023.

The sentence comes after a Multnomah County jury convicted Mosley of first-degree assault, second-degree assault, unauthorized use of a vehicle, two counts of first-degree robbery, unlawful use of a weapon, coercion, menacing and strangulation.
