The parking lot of the Trader Joe’s store on S.E. Chavez Blvd. (formerly 39th) in the Reed neighborhood was already filled with after-work shoppers’ cars on Monday evening, October 13.
At 5:56 p.m., five Central Precinct police cruisers were dispatched to an unspecified “disturbance” — which soon was upgraded to an “Assault—Priority”, bringing a total of nine officers – including a police dog canine team – to the store.
