City of Portland to start enforcing fees for illegally parked, lived-in vehicles

PORTLAND, Ore. — The city of Portland said the enforcement of illegally parked, lived-in vehicles will begin next week.

Owners whose vehicles are towed from the right-of-way will incur standard tow fees. Towing fees will be $250 for small and medium RVs, boats, tiny homes and passenger vehicles, with large RVs incurring $353.

If the vehicle is to be driven off the tow lot, its owner needs to show proof of ownership, insurance and a valid driver’s license…
