Suspect at large after drive-by shooting in SE Portland leaves man seriously injured

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – A drive-by shooting in Southeast Portland left one person seriously injured early Tuesday afternoon, officials said.

Portland police responded to the shooting near the intersection of SE 165th Avenue and Division Street around 1:40 p.m. Officers said they found a man standing on the sidewalk who had been shot by someone in a vehicle who has already fled from the scene.

The person was taken to a local hospital with serious, non-fatal injuries, according to police.

Authorities said an out-of-service TriMet bus was also hit by the gunfire, but the only person on board — the driver — was uninjured…
