Multnomah County burglary task force makes first arrest; 2 suspects still sought

MULTNOMAH COUNTY, Ore. (KPTV) – Less than two weeks after the Multnomah County District Attorney formed a burglary task force with local law enforcement agencies, the task force has gotten its first indictment.

The Portland Police Bureau said 39-year-old Amber M. Turner was arrested and charged with multiple counts of burglary and theft in connection with a burglary that happened earlier this month.

The burglary happened Nov. 13 at the Mary Jane’s House of Glass on Southeast Division Street just before 4 a.m. Turner was arrested as she was riding a bicycle about four blocks from the scene.

The task force is now trying to identify two men who were involved in the same burglary…
