PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Between work, school, friends and family, Anahi Sanchez-Harmon is busy. On the Saturday before Thanksgiving, she took a break and decided to have some fun at a party at a pop-up club around SE 148th and Stark known as Royale Events.
Life has “been going really good,” the 19-year-old Lewis & Clark student told KOIN 6 News.
But she decided to leave the party early because “a fight had broken out and everything. One of the people fighting inside had ran outside and got a gun and just started shooting. But they were aiming for people that they were fighting with.”
She quickly realized she and another man she barely knew were caught in some sort of crossfire…
