Drunk 19-year-old driver fled Portland police at 100 mph before hitting car head-on, court docs allege

A 19-year-old is facing a spate of charges after he allegedly did donuts and burnouts in a Ford Mustang on a Portland street Sunday — then fled police at speeds of up to 100 mph before hitting another car head-on, injuring two people.

Jeffery Hamilton Baker is charged with third-degree assault, failing to perform the duties of a driver to injured people, fleeing police, reckless endangerment, reckless driving and DUII, court records show.

One of the people injured in the crash is in a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and the other did not need to go to a hospital, according to police and court records…
