2 people punched days apart; Portlander arrested twice

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A young man suspected of unprovoked assaults on a 21-year-old man and a 69-year-old woman was arrested twice in a week, including at his home in Southeast Portland on Tuesday, police said.

Santos Puerto-Rios is accused of walking up and punching a man in the face near SE 122nd and Division around 8:30 a.m. on November 25. Puerto-Rios was quickly spotted, arrested and booked for 4th-degree assault.
