PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — After four days of striking, Advanced Practice Providers with Legacy are now set to return to the bargaining table, the Oregon Nurses Association (ONA) announced Saturday.
ONA, which represents about 135 providers in this bargaining unit, said its members offered to meet with Legacy every day to avoid the initial walkout on Tuesday, but Legacy previously declined.
Picket lines then formed at Legacy Good Samaritan and Legacy Emanuel where APPs began the strike over patient care concerns, high turnover and pay that they claim has fallen behind other systems.
