One critical, multiple displaced by SE Portland apartment fire caused by fireworks

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — One person is critically injured and multiple residents were displaced after fireworks caused a two-alarm fire at a Southeast Portland apartment building Sunday morning, officials said.

At 10:15 a.m., crews with Portland Fire & Rescue responded to reports of the fire in the 1600 block of Southeast 162nd Avenue.

Neighbors told KOIN 6 News they were just getting ready for the day when they heard explosions coming from inside the building…
