Axe-wielding suspect shot by Clackamas County deputies identified as Wilsonville teen

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – Clackamas County authorities have identified a man who was shot by deputies last week after allegedly charging them while wielding an axe.

On Monday, the Clackamas County District Attorney’s Office identified the suspect as 19-year-old Matthew Cabril of Wilsonville.

Just after 5:30 p.m. December 5, Clackamas County sheriff’s deputies contracted to the Wilsonville Police Department, responded to a reported domestic violence call involving a moving vehicle.
