Portland Police Bureau officer Jimmy Pryce was arrested by the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office after an off-duty incident on November 29, 2025. Pryce has worked for the bureau for 27 years and is assigned to the North Precinct. He was booked into the Clackamas County Jail on charges of strangulation, fourth-degree assault, and harassment. The Portland Police Bureau was informed of the arrest on December 8, 2025. Pryce is now on administrative leave.
PPB Chief Bob Day said the charges do not reflect the bureau’s values but noted that Pryce is presumed innocent. The Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office is conducting a criminal investigation.
