Portland man wanted for alleged involvement in string of Plaid Pantry thefts

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Multnomah County officials are asking the public’s help in finding a man they say is linked to multiple thefts from Plaid Pantry stores around Portland.

Timothy Ray Jones, 54, is wanted on various charges of burglary and aggravated theft, the Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office said.

Officials say Jones has no known address and is known to have been seen in the area of Dawson Park, near Northeast Stanton Street and Williams Avenue.

Anyone with immediate information on Jones’ whereabouts is encouraged to call 911. Others with non-immediate information can email the DA’s Office Retail Theft Task Force at [email protected].

However, those wishing to report tips anonymously can submit them through Crime Stoppers of Oregon, which offers up to $2,500 cash for information that leads to an arrest in any unsolved felony crime…
