PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office deputy has been cleared of wrongdoing in connection with shooting an arson suspect last month, authorities said.
A grand jury found the actions of Deputy Lindsay Bailey were justified and lawful under Oregon law after responding to an incident in Boring on Nov. 9.
At 9:45 p.m. the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office said they responded to a man’s report that his adult son living on the property was out of control and had set a utility trailer in the yard on fire.
