The longtime principal at Lakeridge High School in Lake Oswego resigned abruptly this month, in an unusual midyear shake-up, and several other Lakeridge staff members are on leave for undisclosed reasons.
Desiree Fisher has been at the helm of the high school, which enrolls about 1,200 students, for 10 years.
In an email to students, staff and families on Dec. 5, Fisher wrote that she had made the “very difficult decision” to leave her post in order to “focus on my health and my family.”…
