Plane linked to former NASCAR star Greg Biffle crashes in North Carolina, multiple casualties reported

(KPTV) – An airplane linked to Hall of Fame NASCAR driver and proud Vancouver, Washington-native Greg Biffle crashed in North Carolina on Thursday. Officials have reported multiple casualties.

A picture from the airport showed the plane in a massive ball of flames after it crashed on the runway.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) told CBS News that six people were aboard the plane. It was not immediately clear whether there were any survivors.

Business records obtained by WBTV show the plane is owned by a private North Carolina company affiliated with retired NASCAR driver Greg Biffle. It was not clear if he was on the plane.
