PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – A man was sentenced to prison on Tuesday for a shooting in a downtown Portland Marriott hotel room in 2020 that left another man dead.
Multnomah County Judge Christopher Marshall sentenced 27-year-old Abdikadir Mohamed Osman to 12 years in prison for shooting and killing 23-year-old Shawn Fujioka and threatening Fujioka’s brother with the gun.
After the six-day trial, the jury convicted Osman of second-degree manslaughter with a firearm, unlawful use of a weapon with a firearm, unlawful possession of a firearm and menacing.
