Residents return to Carver Mobile Home Ranch as Clackamas River floodwaters recede

NEAR HAPPY VALLEY, Ore. (KATU) — Residents of the Carver Mobile Home Ranch along the Clackamas River were back home Friday night after major flooding forced the area to evacuate late Thursday night.

The water rose several feet overnight, turning the grassy area along the river into mud and submerging tree trunks that are typically more than a dozen feet out from the water.
