It may not be a white Christmas in Portland, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be a festive one.
This week, personal finance website WalletHub shared its 2025 Best Places for Christmas Celebrations list — based on both traditions and affordability — and Portland snagged a top spot. The survey drew from metrics related to observance, fun, generosity, shopping and cost.
Of 100 major United States cities included in the ranking, Portland came in at No. 15.
