Eugene two-vehicle crash leaves pedestrian, two others hospitalized

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A pedestrian and two others were hospitalized after a two-car crash in Eugene Saturday night, authorities said.

Just before 9:15 p.m., officers responded to the 1700 block of Franklin Boulevard near the Matthew Knight Arena.

Arriving at the scene, they found a blue Subaru had crashed into a pole and power lines were in the road. Police said the car was “held vertically by the guywires of the pole” and there were people still inside.
