PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — Costumed window washers scaled the walls of Randall Children’s Hospital on Monday to create holiday memories for kids who need it most.
From the Grinch to a nutcracker and elves, families were able to watch all the action through the building’s large glass windows.
Albert Bernal is the manager at Millennium Building Services. His son is a former Randall’s patient.
“Our oldest boy went through here with kidney failure back when it was the old hospital,” he said. “And just the way he was treated, the way the doctors and nursing staffs, kind of put a soft spot on both my wife and myself’s heart. And we decided this was a great way of just every year we’d give away.”…
