PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – A woman is in custody after she stole packages from six homes in Gresham, according to the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office.
On Saturday morning, a woman was seen walking near SE 282nd Avenue and Chase Street. A police officer reported speaking to her on the street before finishing some report writing.

When the officer went back to the area about 30 minutes later, he found the woman carrying several packages he believed were likely stolen. When he contacted the woman again, he found that the woman had taken the packages from porches in the area — including shoes and items.
“All the items had been left outside on the homeowner’s front porch or at their front door – most appeared to be recently delivered Christmas packages,” officials said…
