85-year-old man, 82-year-old woman killed in head-on crash near Oregon City

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Two people were killed in a head-on crash just outside of Oregon City late Tuesday afternoon, according to authorities.

Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office says when deputies got to the scene on S Redland Road near S Meadow View Drive outside of Oregon City, just before 4:30 p.m., they saw what appeared to be a head-on crash involving a Jeep Cherokee and a Ram 2500 pickup truck, with both vehicles having “significant front-end damage,” and a Kia Forte that also appeared to have been involved.

The driver and passenger of the Jeep, identified only as an 85-year-old man and an 82-year-old woman from Estacada, were killed in the crash, according to authorities. The other drivers were not seriously hurt.
