Officials are investigating after an adult died in custody at Multnomah County’s Inverness Jail early Wednesday morning.
The Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement that deputies found the person unresponsive in a dorm room around 2:40 a.m., and emergency responders rushed them to a hospital where they later died.
