2 suspects in $2,000 Camas food burglary arrested on Christmas Eve

CAMAS, Wash. (KPTV) – Two people accused of stealing $2,000 worth of food from a business in Camas were arrested on Christmas Eve.

Camas Police say officers were called to a reported burglary at a business near NW Camas Meadows Dr and NW Payne St on Wednesday morning.

While on the way to the scene, a Camas officer noticed a car blocking a lane near SE 192nd Ave and SE 1st St along with two Vancouver Police cars.

The Camas officer recognized the stopped car since it matched the description of a car suspected in an attempted burglary two days earlier at the same building as the Christmas Eve call, according to police…
