Portland was struck by violence this Christmas Eve, with two individuals hospitalized following separate stabbings in the Northeast section of the city. The first incident took place near NE 30th Avenue and NE Broadway, as reported by KPTV. A second victim was located shortly thereafter, in the vicinity of NE 24th Avenue and NE Hancock Street, per the same source.
Responders were dispatched to the initial scene around 3:30 p.m., with police later finding the second victim, who was then transported to a local hospital along with the first. While details are still emerging, and no arrests have been made, officials are uncertain as to whether the incidents are related. “At this point, we don’t know if the incidents are connected,” Portland police stated, as noted by KOIN News.
