HILLSBORO, Ore. — Hillsboro police have asked the public to avoid the area around Southeast Tualatin Valley Highway and Cypress Street while they investigate a situation involving a suspect armed with a weapon who barricaded themselves inside a residence on Saturday afternoon.
The situation is contained to the single residence, and authorities said no suspects are at large.
