PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – Nearly a week after two stabbings occurred within blocks of each other in Northeast Portland, investigators say the suspect is still at large.
Richard Scott Stuart, 54, is accused of two counts of attempted murder following the two incidents on Wednesday, Dec. 24.

Officers responded to the area of NE 30th Avenue and Broadway around 3:30 p.m. and found one of the victims before locating a second victim in the area of 24th Avenue and Hancock Street.
The first victim, 20, was stabbed in the neck, and the second victim, 67, was stabbed in the neck and head. Both were transported to a local hospital and have since been released.
