PORTLAND, OR (December 31, 2025) – A Christmas morning wake-up call turned chaotic in Multnomah County when a suspect allegedly rammed two patrol vehicles in a desperate attempt to escape deputies.
According to the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO), Steven Thomas Fitzpatrick, 62, was arrested Thursday morning after deputies discovered him sleeping in a vehicle with a stolen license plate.
