A second significant Oregon employer in as many weeks has notified state workforce officials that it plans a mass layoff.
Vacuum Technique said it will close its facility in Clackamas because of “changing business needs.” Seventy-eight jobs will be eliminated, according to a new filing with the state’s Higher Education Coordinating Commission. The filings are required when large layoffs occur.
